A shop in the Seattle area is doing the double din conversion for me on Monday.

I have to buy a deck from them. Here are my choices. I have had Kenwood in the past with NO PROBS and Pioneer and Eclipse and I cannot say the same.
I would not mind Sony, but I do not think they carrry that. Keep in mind I am trying to save money to buy a house.

Help me decide on the following

Kenwood KDC-X889
Alpine CDA-9855
Charge it $1500 DDX-7015

Ive had a flipout poineer screen as well as an alpine, and hands down the alpine was a lot better. I personally would go for the alpine, but that specific kenwood model fits my liking... hmm I would say go with the one that suits you better. And if your saving for a house, why are you modding your car? Do one or the othr bro

 

They are both great looking. I like the kenwood a little better. I like *****. both have that. the kenwood has 5 volt out vs 4 out on alpine, but the apline has a touch screen.

 

I hope that with navigation.. cuz if not you're getting ripped.. they sell the 7015+nav for ~1600 online

 

I have the alpine 9855, the glidestrip will take some getting used to

 

Have to buy it from them since they are doing the work. I don't think it has NAVI. I've seen it on eBay for around $850. I don't really care about NAVI or DVD. I guess I should stick to one of the other ones. I really like that one for the double din. Think it will look best. If I could buy it cheaper online, I would probably get it, but that is not the case.
