Question Navigation Mod

I want to modify my 2005 G35 navigation system to be programed while driving.

I heard this works for '04 and '03. Has this be done on an '05 yet ?

kp has a more advanced one, but all you really have to do is put a switch on the movement wire. There's a few threads about it.

All you have to do is break the vehicle speed switch signal going to the back of the Navi DVD unit. Keep in mind that as long as the signal is broken that Navi location will be off, and all movement based functions of the GPS will be disabled (the car will think its standing still). Your milage info will be wrong as well as your maintenance stuff. When you turn the switch back off (reconnect speed data) the navi will update the location of the vehicle.

Good luck!
