Getting Cleansweep tomm. need install suggestions
I'm suppose to be getting JL's Cleansweep tomorrow (at least that is what the JL dealer told me). I am currently running a Navone Loc with an Eclipse EQ/Line Driver. The sound is good but not great.
My wiring options are as follows:
1. tap the wires before the bose amp, in the trunk.
2. tap the wires after the bose amp, in the trunk
3. tap the wires behind the HU in the dash (most work required), and run the RCA's to the trunk.
I'm leaning towards #1, and just replacing my Navone converter. I'm not sure #3 will provide much sound benefit.
A question about my SUB, since the Cleansweep lacks a Sub output, should I run Y cables from the Rear Channel Output from the Clean Sweep, is there another option? Will I lose half the voltage by splitting the signal to my Sub and rear speakers, which will cause a sound quality loss?
Why didn't JL account for a Sub output, just my 2 cents.
