I'm trying to get idea how many of you all are using the Bose head unit and what sort of problems you have encountered. I'm having a problem with the left side not playing during a cd: tape and radio are good?????

CDs would not play, eject, or load. Unit had to be replaced.

I heard about other problems like sound on one side also.

 

I'm relatively new to this site but it DOES seem like a lot of G owners here have a grip with the Bose head unit. I honestly have no issues with it whatsoever. When reading a data cd full of mp3s it sometimes spazes out, but other than that I think it sounds pretty good.

I dont have a tape player on mine but imo the radio sounds unusually good (pretty much no static). No issues yet with speakers not playing. KNOCK ON WOOD

Although I am coming from a stock 01 sentra audio system so pretty much anything is a step up for me.

 

I like the HU sound now that AMP and speakers replaced...
