pac

Dont think the pac would interfere with the ac in anyway. You might want to open it back up and make sure everything is ok, nothing in kinked etc. Plugging everything in correctly is one thing, reinstalling the dash without screwing something up is another. Besides that, not sure how the pac audio would interfere with the ac. I put the pac unit all the way down on top of some soft cushion material. Definetely dont want it directly behind the unit since it might get in the way. Hope this helps. If this doesn't work, might want to try returning for an exchange.

Yep sounds like some of the wiring in the back got kinked or not pushed all the way in. I know its a pain, but you gotta be careful getting that unit back in as you can easily pull harnesses out trying to jiggle that unit back into place.

Yep, one of the harnesses is not properly connected. When I first did mine, I got it 80% back together and tested everything. I had exactly the same symptoms, fan running w/ no control, radio dead. The culprit was that PITA connector with the removable clips and the little flex-cable at the bottom of the CD portion. (You may or may not have removed that during instal). Make sure the connector is fully engaged and the clips have snapped in place. Obviously check them all while you're in there.
