Omnifi unit placement
Hey everyone,
Yesterday I installed a PAC unit and the controller unit for my Omnifi hard-drive based MP3 player. I still have the dash/stereo all apart because I'm having a tough time getting the stereo back in place. Grrr. What a f*cking bitch.
Anyways, my question is, if anyone has Omnifi or other similar devices, where did you install your hard drive unit? I am planning to put it under the drivers seat but I want to hear some other opinions too. Thanks!

Where did you put the head unit itself? I'm thinking of buying an Omnifi, but I have NAV and am not sure where it could go. Also, does the Omnifi have a wireless remote? If it does, it could then be controlled from the steering wheel with the SWI-X add on to the PAC NIS and placement wouldn't be that big of a deel.
In answer to your question, however, Omnifi's website suggests placing it in the trunk. I also think I've seen some pics of a G35 installation where they placed the hard drive unit in the front ride side of the trunk.
