My car has 7,200 miles and I finally got the Check Disc error. I went to Metro Infiniti in Monrovia during lunch today to request a new system be installed under warranty. They were very helpful; helps to wear a tie.
While I was at it, took advantage of their $34.95 oil change.
Here's my question. I asked the service manager about the whole cd changer error and after spending numerous hours searching related topics on this forum, here's my question:
When I get my cd changer replaced, do I follow their/and many of your advice to not use Cd-R's with labels or any CD-R's and risk having another CD Error and listen away to my libarary of CD-R's. Keep in mind, 90 % of my CD's are burned.
Anyone know if the replacement CD changer is less prone to the CD error? I realize some of you are on your 3rd and 4th install. Is it safe to say the 1st replacement usually does the trick?
Thanks for your input!

Any advice guys & gals on my orginal question? I just got my car back 20 minutes ago. I'm doing a hardwire IPOD install to avoid ever using the freaking CD player again. Any thoughts on my orginal question would be greatly appreciated.
