Hello. I recently purchased a Garmin C330 and it's working great. However, I am faced with a problem. There's no where to mount it in the G35.

For the last 3 hours I have tried to find a place to mount the navigation system but can not. For those that have portable navigation systems, please describe your set up. Pictures would be extremely helpful.

Problems:

1. In california, it's illegal to mount to the windshield (I live in California).
2. Our G35 dashboard is not flat, but the mounting system is a flat circle so it will not stick to the dashboard. (Unless I stick it the console, but then I wouldn't be able to use my buttons.)

Hey man, I mounted it right in the navi compartment. It is still attached to the suction cup which i angle into the compartment. The unit fits fairly well, doesnt move too much, and I have better access to it since it is closer to me.

 

how did u guys mount it to the cubby? do u guys have any pictures or can u give me a detailed description. I tried monting it there before, but it doesnt seem to fit.
