Retro-fit Bluetooth?
I would like to integrate as well. That's one of the features I miss. I have a bluetooth phone already and have a joyous time trying to shift and talk at the same time.
Has anyone tried Motorola's bluetooth system?

My 2001 BMW 330Ci was "prewired" for the original BMW cell phone option so it did have the mic located right next to the sunroof controls. I could have bought the bluetooth retro kit for about $500 (as mentioned earlier) but ended up getting rid of the car. The car had premium package.

It wouldn't be as slick as OEM integrated BlueTooth, but it would be better than trying to hold a phone and shift at the same time...
.
Maybe this will help https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/60117-installed-bluetooth-2005-g35x.html

Ok so here is my question... supposedly, when you get a call (with the OEM 06 Bluetooth thing), the radio volume lowers and the incoming caller's name is displayed in the BOSE stereo right?
If this is the case, then that must mean that the bose on the 06 is not the same as the one in the 05...
The only other explanation would be that the Bluetooth is not integrated with the stereo (I dont see any answer button on the steering wheel or the dash), which means that there is nothing "special" with owning the OEM Bluetooth.

I have a bluetooth kit from Parrot. It has the auto mute and displays caller ID, phone book, etc. Pretty cool gadget.
Only the display and the mic are in sight.
Sound Advice in Mission Viejo did my install but the flat piece on top of my clock is crooked. Does anybody know how to fix it? Please PM me if you do. I know it just snaps on and off but that doesn't fix it. I think something underneath wasn't put on straight.

Refer to thread link below for a review and comments about the TomTom GO NAV system I have been using. It has integreated bluetooth handsfree system which works like a charm.
