Need Bose LOC converter?

Need Bose LOC converter?
I have a G35 sedan with the Bose system. I just purchased a JL500/5 amp to upgrade the system. The manual says the amp can use pre-amp level inputs OR speaker level inputs. Does this mean that I will not have to use a LOC to hook up my amp to the stock Bose?
