Is this possible?

hey guys wsup? I'm trying to add in a pioneer avic-n1 in my car but i dont wanna replace the stock dd head unit. Instead i was wondering if it was possible to put the single din n1 in the top glove compartment with a kit or some sort. I've rarely seen anyone do such a thing but it looks pretty tight and it won't block my ac controls. Is it basically FULL customized kit? or is it actualy possible without damaging anything. . . . .thanks in advance! =)

the only way to do that is to get it custom made.. and the reason why not many people has done it is because it gets quite expensive.. to have a custom mold like that installed could run you upwards of $500+.. I've seen a couple done.. personally I would get a carputer over the avic-n1.. they have kits for that.. I think some members are doing full installation with everything for around $1700
