The bose woofer sucks, we all know this. Has anyone replaced the bose woofer with something else and put it in the same place? I don't think the mids and highs are that bad (certainly not top shelf). I'm thinking that a aftermarket replacement of the bose woofer in the same place with a new small amp would probably make a big enough difference for me.

So, has anybody done this?/
