Standalone DVD nav/DVD player for touchscreen?

I was thinking about getting a nav system, and had thought about the G35 screen from DigitalWheelz. However, I don't know if there are any add-on DVD nav systems (like the Pioneer AVIC-88DVD) that also play regular movie DVDs. Does anyone know?

The AVIC-90DVD should do both. See http://mr2bob.com/G35.htm for details.

The touchscreen will only work with PCs though.

Is anything like this possible using the stock nav screen? I hate the factory nav system. The maps are outdated (STILL) the whole thing smacks of the 90's! Sure I can do an RGB input box like the ones used for hooking up DVD players, but that reduces input to Svideo at best. Any way of taking the RGB of a third party system in? Along with the audio?

Ideally something like the newer systems that incorporate traffic data into the nav.

Thanks in advance!

Problem is that the AVIC-90DVD doesn't appear to support a sat radio plug in. I've been thinking about the carputer route, but my ignorance on that topic is near-total.

I would personally just go with a double-din navi setup. They do everything you want; there's a 100 posts around here on it.
