Well, I'll see if this optima battery will last me the year. In case it doesn't its all good. Autozone has a 12 month warranty in case it dies and stuff. Either way, I heard good things about it. I am no expert to say this is the one to get. I just had people recommend it.

The only nice thing about the optimas is that they are sealed, and gel cell... Meaning they can be put practically anywhere in a vehicle/boat. They are great for a two battery system with one in the trunk.. Otherwise, g35audioman is correct.

I'm in the same boat......installed a 4080 box w/ 10w6v2 and a jl 500/1. I also have a compustar 2way alarm and a carpc.
I installed the sub/amp about a month ago and the last few days, the car is alot more hesitent to startup.
You have to figure that the amp itself can draw over 500 watts nominal, not even mentioning it's max draw, thats equivelant to almost 10 headlights at around 500watts! I'm pretty sure our alternaters aren't made to handle that.

Ok, my battery just died again last night as I was about to leave my house. It's getting real frustrating. I'm going in for service this Wednesday for my first oil change, and wanted to bring this to the attention of the service guys. My question is, do you think they would replace my battery all together? Would this be covered under warranty? I really think I just have a bad battery, it just seems like it's not holding any charge. My fuse for my stereo has been off for the last week, and it still died. I don't know what to do.

Conclusion: I decided not to rely on the dealer and went ahead and bought a Duralast Gold battery from Autozone. So far, it's been working great, but time will tell. Thanks all, for all your replies and suggestions.
