Hey guys, I have an X50 and the same bracket Miami has that I got from Mike. Just wanted to know if everyone elses X50 sags with the bracket. If so, what did you guys do to fix it.

 

If you look at my photo in the initial post of this thread you'll notice I flipped switch on the bottom of the mirror into dim mode. I also adjusted the movable arm around to force the bracket to be level. It has worked out very well for me though the position of just the mirror itself does look a bit awkward compared to a normally positioned mirror. No one really notices though and it all works just fine.

 

I've had this same setup in my coupe since August and it works great. No tickets so far! The only thing I'd like to add since it seems a wee bit confusing in the original post is that with the 8500 X50, you don't have to install the remote mute button that comes with the ZR3. You can use the mute button that is already on the 8500 X50 to do the same thing.
