Does the PAC unit needs any additional wires or anything? Do you need to coneect it to a power source or it will get everything from plug and play (plugs) ? meaning do i have to run power wires to it or a switch of some sort.
Since my car never came with Sat.

There is a guy on this forum (ikSardarG) or at least they used to be. He sells them at the low end of the range you mentioned. I bought one a couple months ago and just had it put in (too lazy myself). I coupled it with an IceLink AUX unit so the iPod charges while connected and is a LINE OUT output. I didn't really think there would be a dramatic difference between the cassette adapter I was using (and thought sounded okay) and the directly connected PAC unit. I WAS WRONG!!!! The difference is amazing. No comparison at all. The sound is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.
Yeah, I really like that Icelink preamp for the line out of the iPod. Dension (the maker of the Icelink) doesn't talk up the AUX because it doesn't have any cool control features like th Icelink Plus - but it does have the audio preamp, and the built-in charger keeps any cig-lighter chargers from creating the dreaded alternator whine.
Now if they'd make a Nissan Sat-compatible Plus...
