Questions On Installation

I am interested in buying this....the website says that it wont fit my car. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could do.....or if anyone has encountered any similiar situations.......heres the website http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1108125505761

My two comments are don't buy anything Jensen for an Infiniti (for a Kia, maybe) and don't listen to Best Buy at all about anything.

If there is a fitment issue, it's about what the screen hits when it comes out.

Explain to me what is wrong with Jensen? What is better? Panasonic? Alpine? i dont really see the difference.....I will be installing it....i dont trust people to touch my car..

It looks like this is a single DIN player. As such it will not fit in your dash without some work. That, in addition to what el_duderino said, will be the fitment issues.

As for a fix... you either need to be good with power tools, or go with the Nissan double DIN dash conversion. The unit you want will fit in a DD dash. I have no idea whether it will open without interference.

The unit will fit with a double-din conversion, but it will look like crap and reduce the value of your car.

Yes, Panasonic and Alpine are both far better than Jensen, which is really Audiovox.

I am not a fan of Panasonic incar gear, but they're far better than Jensen.

And while an experienced pro can install a single-DIN in this car and make it look good, you probably can't.
