Poor Fm reception

Had the Bose in my G35 unhooked yesterday and hooked up a jl500/5 amp, jl xr650csi components, alpine sps 130a for the rear doors, jl 10w3v2 sub with sealed box all hoked up to a Kenwood kvt-911 dvd/tv/tuner/sirius.
The bass seems awfully thick, probably needs to be tweaked. The FM reception is TERRIBLE. They hooked up the window antenna and an aftermarket antenna stuck to the windshield beside the rearview mirror. Any suggestions as how to improve reception. If they cannot come up with a fix, I am tempted to have them hook the Bose head unit to the new amp and go back to FM modulation for the Kenwood. I DO NOT expect to spend $5500 and not be able to listen to the damn radio!!!

Re: Poor Fm reception

They couldn't use the existing antennae in the left rear roof quarter panel? See if they can use it, sticking something to the rear windshield is kind of tacky to me.

Re: Poor Fm reception

They used the existing diversity antenna as well as the aftermarket stick-on. And no, my windows aren't tinted.
