Yes you can but I don't know what the output of the soundcard vs the input of the BLOSE is. That is why you may need the adapter to match the impedence. What impedence matching does is exactly that, it matches the output of the soundcard to the inputs on the BLOSE amp. If the output of the soundcard is really low, you will have to turn up the soundcard settings and that will induce alot of HISSING noise and even alternator whines. You get this alot with high-level (speaker level) output/input due to the various speaker setting. I just don't know what the output vs the input settings you are going to use so that will depend on that. Good luck.

Average 5 channel amps are going to run you $400+, closer to $500 retail. But they also go up to as high as $1000 & $1300. Check ebay.

An average 4 Channel amp will run about $200~$250. Of course you can get them as cheap as $100 and as expensive as $700. Check ebay.

If you want to use a single-ended output into a Bose amp, try the Peripheral SVEN4 or the Soundgate XR4.

you need a wiring harness. i'm doing the same thing, i'm giving the existing bose system a shot with an aftermarket head unit to see if i can salvage it. You need the metra 70-7551 harness to use the bose system. It has rca plugs and connects to the pre outs of your head unit. Get one with three pre outs at 4 or 5 volts each. One for your fronts, one for your backs and one if you want to add an extra set of subs. The bose amp needs strong voltage pre outs to reduce risk of very low sound. If you plan on bypassing and tearing out your stock bose amps without testing them out, you would use the 70-7550 model harness. In that event you would also need to run new wires to your speakers and may lose the function of your fifth interior speaker/subwoofer. Never ever cut into your cars wiring. The RCA inputs are incorporated into your vehicles harness. You need to buy the harness adapter. look up the metra 70-7551 and you'll see from the picture what i'm talking about. The harness goes for about 20 bucks everywhere, i got it from here, http://www.cartoys.com/Default.cfm/p...:referralID=NA for 9 dollars with free shipping. And by the way, when people on here say that your head unit outputs don't match your bose system inputs, what they mean is your head unit produces an unbalanced signal while the bose amp is configured to accept a balanced signal. This is some cases causes distortion depending on your head unit. From what i've read, there is something that's called a balance transmitter or something of that nature that can deal with this problem as well if it occurs. I'm about to be testing all this out first hand soon.
