Your right, there have been problems, but those are with the G35c that have Factory Nav Units. I don’t have the Nav Unit and the face plate works well, it is just that there are still gaps that that appear to be reassemble issues on the side of the console where the AC Vents are as if it didn’t snap back together correctly.

Ok, it is finally done! FYI - The JL 10" W7 is more than enough bass for any level of audio fanatic. The mids and tweets are adequate (More than any human ear needs any where near the car). I want to take some night pictures as there are Red LEDs that are sound sensitive that light up and dance; they light up the amp and the box and reflect off of the Plexiglas. Overall, I think the design conceals the box well and it looks great. Anyhow, here are the pics:

You are correct, it is a box made by JL. The box is specially designed for the W7 called the W7 H.O. Wedge being H.O. for High Output. It is a huge box, but perfectly tuned and just right. It sounds amazing. Of course, no trunk space is left, but I sacrifice worth making.

alfhasg35, please post some pics when your system is done. What are you having done?

Dude, you put in a Double Din kit and only used a single din unit??? Are you planning something else for later? It just looks kind of cheap, especially in the G. If you are happy then thats all that matters, Peace

Jetleaf, indeed I am very happy with the single Din at this time. The plan is to make some adjustments later, however at this time the extra money I saved in doing the single Din is going towards my engine performance mods. Unfortunately, the river of cash flow is drying up and have to plan accordingly.

I am having a custom system built. Hmmm. For starters My equipment is labeled on my sig. Then, I am having 2 fiberglass tubs built. When the tubs are done they are going to be sanded smooth and painted G35 Obsidian Black. When you open my trunk all you will c is Amps and black painted fiberglass. When you pull down my seat all you will c is a 12w7 and Black painted fiberglass. My guy is rated 12 in da nation. Considering how many installers there are in the nation, i hope it comes out good.

I think it will. The only down side is that my guy is giving me a deal and I have to be on the backburner for the whole build. It's already been a week and a half and I am dying to cruise my ride....even without stereo.....Here are a couple of pix from my camera..
