Have box and JL12W4-4(need amp and advice on replacing OEM speakers)
First things first. I am a complete dumbass when it comes to audio components and install.
Basically I have a JL-12W4-4 with a box that fits quite nicely in the car.
Here's what I want to do.
1. Buy amp for this sub(give suggestions for optimum watts, settings, whatever).
2. Replace ALL Bose OEM speakers with some that actually have clarity. Please give me specifics on each type, rear deck, side doors, and tweeters. I really want the cleanest sound I can achieve with my $$$.
3. Maintain the stock look. Keep the bose speaker covers and have tweeters that fit seemlessly.
4. Use existing stock head unit, no navi, no ripping the dash apart.
Please give me options here. I beg of you experts to help me out! Also, my budget is not limitless here, so let's be somewhat reasonable. Luckily I already own the box and sub.
In fact, give me some ideas for how much this can cost me on the various levels.
Thanks all!!!

This is where you need to make two decisions.
- How commited are you to rear speakers?
- How commited are you to a particular budget?
I ask this because if your budget is definite (and that's fine, not trying to make that wrong), you can get better sound with good front speakers and no rear speakers than with mediocre speakers front and rear.
BTW, I have a G35C
Now correct me if I am wrong, which I probably am, but it is my understanding that the main function of the rear deck speakers is for bass. But since I am adding a 12' sub, it would be smarter to pull those speakers and just focus on getting high quality door speakers. Now, since the stock tweeters are in the upper part of the door do I:
A) pull them and have my lower door speakers be coaxial
B) pull them and have a 5' speaker in the lower door, and an aftermarket tweeter in the OEM tweeter position.
Also, I want to get out of this spending about $600.
I have the box and sub, and figure I can get a 200watt amp on Ebay. The new speakers that I will purchase will be purchased at the audio install place so they will have a warranty.
Any suggestions now on an amp? Also, do I just ditch the stock amp?
Also, how many channels do I need for the amp? Or do I get 2 amps, one for the sub, and one for the rest? Does it matter?
keep in mind I don't want a distorted thump-athon, I just want really crisp sound.
Edit* the sub I am getting is from a family member, it is a slightly used JL 12w4. How much should I offer for it? $50? Is this a good sub(remember, I am clueless)?
