What is going on in my car, when the radio is playing the left tweeter is working fine, when i switch to cd the left tweeter shuts off and the mid sounds like its dead, but the right side works perfectly ????? whats wrong with it 04 g35s non blose

 

Welcome to the wonderful world of faulty clarion cd changers....i have a 2005 maxima and experience the same. bring it to the dealer and try and get them to replace it....but it is not the speakers

 

this is a well documented and recurring problem with the G35's Clarion headunit... i'm on my 2nd headunit and this problem has come back again... time to make another appointment with my service dept.

 

had mine done too.. problem is, they will replace under warranty but you get a refurbished one. So........... the problem will never go away. Never.

 

I had the same exact problem.. it took them 2 new head units and a new speaker to finally fix the problem. It was a loose/faulty output. The dealer should fix it without hesitation.

 

Yep, and WHEN it happen again (3 months later) I just when on and got a DDin HU.
