Anyone experience playback problems with MP3s on the factory Bose unit in the '05 Infinitis? I have several MP3s that work fine up to ~ track 8 or 9. At that point the audio starts breaking up & tracks further down the list simply won't play at all. I've tried the same MP3s on other players at home and everything works fine. The player is under warranty, but I wanted to see if others experienced this problem before going back to the dealer.

 

Could be the media you are using, try a different brand. I use TDK and never have probs...worth a try.

 

Looks like you were right. I was using Memorex CD-Rs and "borrowed" an "off brand" from work... so far, the "off brand" seems to play fine all the way through. Who'd thunk?

Also look at the speed your burn them too. If you burn it too quickly the pits aren't as deep. Try burning it at slower speeds and see if that helps too.

 

I think I'll try the TDK's. I've burnt about 5 mp3 cds and my 2005 won't read but one. It says READING for about 2 min, then says UNPLAYABLE. I've tried different programs and cd brands but not TDK..yet... I'll get some tommorrow and hopefully they will work...
