Thats where you actually buy the DW items. Short answer is that the housing and touch screen is ~$750

Yes we will have a complete NAV product, just don't know exactly when, this year I hope. The easiest input device to use really depends on the task your performing and to some degree your own preferences. Both have thier advantages and disadvantages. Personally I think overall a touch screen is, hands down, a far better input device for a nav system, particularly for entering addresses. Tactile input devices do better at performing simple commands that can be performed with a single button press, like next track, but are terrible if you need to perform a more complex command like selecting a letter with cursor keys. A typical touchscreen interface with buttons on screen for each function, is easy to figure out how to use, but since the interface changes and you don't get tactile feedback, you will have to look at the screen to press the buttons, not the ideal situation when driving. There are some ways around this by taking advantage of the touchscreen's flexibility, i.e. handwriting recognition, but the success of that depends on your ability to remember and perform the proper gesture. In any case though, we will have a product that will support pretty much any input device you have.

Looking forward to the 2005 Display. If you need a G35 to try out or demo on I would be happy to offer mine up. I want to put a full Car PC in, and this is the crux I need.

Thanks for the great work - it look first rate!

I started recieving some of the 05 parts in, theres really not much more to report though, unless something goes wrong, I won't have any real updates until I recieve everything in. I'm still expecting them to be available in December.
