bose cd player skips!!!

is there any way to clean the cd player/lens.... mine skips even on brand new cd's. whats up with that??

i searched but got no returns

I had that problem last year. It was especially bad when it was cold outside (~32 degrees). Took it to the dealer and had the whole head unit swapped out.
