2 - 10" Punch stage 3 - problems when turning the car off (pics)
After wireing the car and having everything connected, i get for some reason a signal being sent to my amp after turning off the car. The speakers turn on for about 10 seconds with a loud bass sound that gradually increases. i had this happen once with a previous amp i had, but i imediately turned it off and unhooked it after i couldnt figure it out. to tell you a bit about the set up, i personally am not savy with car audio components, but the guy that did my wireing did it from the back speakers somehow with a high-low converter.I think it works witht he stock amp in the rear, but then again i know he was splitting and connecting wires. He didnt wanna undo the HU and all, and said it would be the same, so i figured what ever - it wouldnt matter. As of last week i finally had everything in and installed, since then i have gone through 3 amps (cause mine was backordered or something and big delema's with companies).
My first amp worked fine before it would over heat and die. The second one was a friends that lent me his burned out amp from 0g wireing, and 2 L7's, with this amp i first experienced the problem. I figured it was messed up from being abused. This amp i have now is doing it again, call me stupid but im not exactly sure of the brand name, but its not a bad one...its a t1001 or something.....anyways, this amp is doing it as well, therefor im figureing its the wireing now.
To recap this long annoying post....my speakers get signal after turning off the car for about 10 seconds straight...im guessing its the wireing but i figured id ask some people i knew before i took it to a shop to rewire or take a look at it. As for my setup, pics below - doubt you guys can see something from it, it looks like its wired fine....anyone know why i might be having this problem?
**EDIT**: i forgot to add, that it happens as well when you start the car, but as soon as the radio starts to kick in, it shuts up and works fine until the car is turned off.
