i hear you on trying to be original... the crew i run with out here (NY G-Squad) has some serious rides and i'm always trying to be different. i think i'm going to go with the Zeitronix unit instead of regular gauges, and mold it in where the ashtray was
i don't have pics of the engine bay painting and stuff yet, most of the pieces are still hanging on the wall in Ducatiguy's garage in CT... i'm not gonna bother putting the Laser red battery, brake, and 350z engine cover (i popped out the Nissan burger and filled that in too), and polished plenum on until meet season comes around again in the spring.... the G is my daily driver and no sense putting all the underhood bling on for a NY winter
be sure to post up some pics of the whole interior when it's done. btw how much does all that FG weigh in your trunk? my current box is heavy but the guy who built it was a fiberglass noob at the time (i think there might actually be 2x4's in there for bracing, gotta pop a woofer out and look)....

Ok dash parts are painted and I FINALLY just got done extending ALL the wires for the Xbob man what a PAIN in the ****! I still have to cut and buff all the painted parts. Im also painting the armrest console gloss black. Ive added the controller ports in the old ash tray spot. I had to do a bit of fiberglassing so it needed to be painted. I think it will be a nice touch anyway.

I bought teh cable at Frys. That was the easy part. The hard part was extending ALL the other wires. Theres about 40 of them.
Heres a little preview of what I got done today. The two halves half been shot! I put down five coats of clear. After I buff the pieces they will look ever better!
