edit: just went to the garage and confirmed it. it stays at +5 and it sounds like +5 too after turning off the car and turning it back on.
play something with alot of vocal.. k turn it to 16 volume or 18 volume and close the door..

set everything to +5
turn off your car and take out the key
now turn ur car into accessory or on
hit BASS down and up really quick so u go from +5 to +4 and back to +5 in less then a second..
then hit the treb down and up and see if u notice a difference

old thread I know...but has anyone found a solution to this? My HU used to be fine until my car hit 27k miles. Now it resets all the time. The HU still reads Bass +5 & Treble +2, but the sound is different after I turn the car back on.

the dealer tried replacing the HU and it did not help. I was going to have them replace the amp next.
