Where is the Sat harness on 04 Sedan?
Where is the Sat harness on 04 Sedan?
I found the Bose amp under the rear shelf but can't find the sat connector. Where is it? I have an 04 and according the the info I've seen, it should be pre-wired for sat. Thanks!
The document I have shows it to the bottom right of the pass through in the seatback.
When looking into the trunk from the back of the car, take the trim panel off the underside of the rear parcel shelf (you must have done this if you saw the BOSE), continue removing the trim piece that is covering the back of the seat. The N-bus is shown behind the cross brace that goes under the pass through and angles up to the top right corner of the rear seat.
My car didn't have the N-bus cable, but I have an 05. I've torn half the car apart today in the hunt for red oct.. er, I mean N-bus... Not anywhere near the rear of the car.
I hope this helps.

Albert,
Thank you very much! I got to the amp and couldn't find the sat connector and got worried. Never guessed it would be in the seat back. Those 4 plastic connectors that fasten the rear seat cover and the parcel cover together are much more difficult to remove than the other fasteners.
Good luck on the hunt for N-bus! Wish I could offer some advice in return.

Glad you found it. I'm ordering the service manual for the car, so the electricals will be in there and then I can spend the 10 minutes looking that the Canadian dealerships refuse to do for me
All in all, I will get XM in the car, just a matter of when...

I ordered the Infiniti service manuals from http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti/ . I paid $20 and had 24 hours to download the manuals. It does include a complete wiring diagram but it didn't help me find the physical location of the satellite plug. Good luck!

Just purchase a one-day subscription for $19.99. Go to the "Available Catalogs" drop-down menu, select "Online Subscriptions", and buy a 1-day subscription for $19.99. You then have to open about 15 PDF files for your vehicle and then save them all to the same directory on your computer. That's what I did anyway.
