We normally tend to attract a discerning clientèle.

Lowend? Your too much guy. SO your saying JL is highend and all else is below it?

Carpet? I haven't posted any pics. of installs done using carpet.
What I have posted is a pic. of a g35 with a full vinyl and fiberglass install.

I totally understand now.... I apologize. The people who can appreciate high end electronics is is reserved for a select group of people.

You talk about scams. The medical industry is the biggest racket know to man.
$50 each for a Advil and $30 for a bandage.
The biggest difference is that we tell clients how much it will be before they
decide to do business with us. What the medical industry does is gouge most of their unsuspecting patients.
I wrote it in crayon's so you could understand it. "Big Money"

People who can appreciate a$$holes are few and far between too. But you undoubtedly already know that.

Somebody lock this thread.

I can understand a install might takes about $250k but that's for shows. For $250k you get a lot of blings on other custom installs that has nothing to do with SOUND.

You don't need whole lot of money to enjoy good music with HIGH END component. Beside good/bad is personal preference. Unless you're looking for status and has money like RAP start to throw it around, there isn't any need for it. I enjoy stealth factory like installation, so I don't have to worry about where I park my car. Just shop around and you can obtain any awsome component for less then $10,000 for super High end Brand name equipment. For example my dream system with Morel audio speaker and complete McIntosh HU, CD changer and amps.

It's ashamed this thread turned to **** so quickly just because someones feelings got hurt.

bb996+r1, lighten up man there was nothing directed toward you and it doesn't even seem like you manage the same store amthar was referring to.

Some of us were actually interested in the topic at hand. Can we get some USEFUL information??

Thanks.

twitch and jeremyp111,
Thanks! The tread was about a simple question regarding the JL Cleansweep! It turned into a big battle of who knows more about over priced stereo installs! Can't we all just get along?!! :-)

No offense taken. I all boils down to you get what you pay for.
I always love a good debate.

And back on the topic, the cleansweep does have it's flaws. JL will be redesigning the cleansweep for 2006. Some changes will include a sub. pre-out.

lol, I come back from an extended leave from the boards to discover old comments are fueling current strife.... gotta love that! I can't even figure out what question I'm supposed to answer if I wanted to... what is the question (if there is one)?

Yeah, calling people "dicks" is always part of a good debating style.
