4080 Grills

For those with 4080 box, please post your pics of both kinds.

Found the thread for the Infiniti 4080 grill, but the pics don't work anymore.

Getting ready to order the box, but not sure which grill i want to get.

Thanks, just ordered the box with Infiniti Grill. Later tonight after the trick or treaters are gone I am going to purchase a JL 10w6v2. Pretty sure that is going to put out the most bass in that box. If anyone can prove otherwise, feel free to post your arguments.

Can't wait. My friend who is an installer was to be doing everything. I paid him $500 and he wired everything and did a rack for the amps and crossovers. This process only to 1 FU(KING Year. Then he said he would get the box done in another week. Well I have had my car a year and a half and the stereo is still not complete. I went down to the shop when he was busy inside and grabbed my stuff and high tailed outta there.

define "putting out the most bass" for that particular box. for each person it would be more for suited taste. some people don't like boomy/peaky/etc bass... i haven't heard or tested a 4080 box. what's the internal dimensions for the box. if you're going strictly by that and what JL says is the recommended box size I would say it would not sound its best. from our experience the rec'd box airspace is lower than what we prefer for sound.

if someone's local here in socal and has the 4080 box I'd be interested in hearing the setup. and comparing to a simple wedge or cube box with an alpine type R. i'm currently testing a typeR 12" with 75% fill in a .8cuft wedge box. so far so good.
