what do you guys use to tap into the factory wiring? i bought a pair of twisted pair RCA Y-adapters and the conductors on them are too small to use my wire taps, they aren't making a good connection... anybody make beefier twisted RCAs?

You can't solder the connections together? It would be better than using wire taps.
