I just had to make a comment on your service. I ended up having to buy a unit from your company the other day for a porsche since avelectronics doesnt have it yet and when i called to get more info on the piece the man i talked to (dominique) was VERY rude and spoke to me like a child. all i asked was if the unit had more than one output like the avelectronics unit does being that the customer was looking to install more than one screen. i like that feature because it simplifies the wiring and also boosts the video signal. his reply was "just split it behind the dvd player!" I understand how to split video signal, im not new at this. I never once spoke to you like i was some newbie or a regular customer. i asked very relevant questions being that i have never bought from your company before. i can gaurentee you that we will think twice before ever calling tvandnav2go again.

 

In Dominic's defense though, I called him and asked the exact same question, and he was extremely helpful to me, and after talking to him, I purchased the kit from him. Perhaps you caught him on a bad day, or you two were misunderstood. I'm not suggesting anything, just making the comment that I talked to him about the very same question and got a completley different response or feeling as far as how i was treated.

 

im not sure if he was mad because i refered to the avelectronics piece or what, but damn. if i had more time to look around on the net without the customer sitting right there i would have. you never know who your talking to, and it could cost your business a lot of business talking to people like that. and also, i would ecpect their product to have a lot more features. its pretty damn basic and harder to sell being that it has 2 inputs and just the one output for $700. i know its a porsche but come on dude. ill stick to AVE from now on.

I was not rude to you in ANY way or form. If you search around the net you will see that anyone that can do the Porsche units only offers 1 INPUT and charge $1100 to do that car. I told you $700 with 2 inputs 1 for DVD and 1 for backup camera. You didn't want to hear about 2 inputs you wanted more (a switcher). I then told you if you wanted more, to add an Audio Video switcher. All you kept on saying was about AV's unit and I kept telling you that AV doesn't have a unit for the Porsche. forum and you will see that NOT 1 person from ALL the units I sold, has anything bad to say about my service or my product. I have also sold many units on this forum and no one else has anything bad to say, but you. I searched this forum for your post and you seem to have a lot of issues with a lot of people. You are also a dealer for AV which is fine, but please don't bad mouth me to make yourself look good, that is bad business. If you want to pay AV $550 for a unit thats fine, but if you took my 2 input unit and add a $100 AV switcher you would be doing the same thing for a LOT less. We always GARANTEE the BEST quality units at the BEST prices and will NEVER be undersold. Also our 1 unit works on 99% of the cars on the road today and are machine assembled, unlike AV's unit. You may not be a newbie, but you don't know anything about the Porche LCD screen and why it is so expensive to make. It has nothig to do with the fact that it is a Porsche, it has to do with the LCD screen they use. The unit is not a SIMPLE RGB unit. If the unit was made the way you wanted it built, in a switcher style it would cost $1000 and you would really say thats crazy.

actually i understand why it costs what it does from what you have told me about the installation. but yes you were VERY rude! You....talked.....to.....me ......like.........this.., all slow like im ****ing retarded or just plain stupid. my boss saw that it was a brooklyn # I was calling and he said that explained your attitude, because he moved here from there a few years back and said thats how people are out there. and no im not here to pick fights and i dont have a lot of people that hate me on here. I have only had you pissed a few times because you dont listen to some people when they tell you what they are looking for and you persist on telling them to buy your units even though they arent it. i understand that you are a business and try to make money like the rest of us, but i think you go about it all wrong. im not saying your product is bad either. i hope it is good because i AM installing it in a cayenne hopefully tomorrow or sat. luckly in this situation he decided on only adding your unit and not a flipdown with only a dvdplayer, not the sat tv and game port like he origionally planned on. and about the switcher, im not sure how much you are installing in normal situations, but none of my customers ever want to add even more buttons and units if they dont absolutely have to. thats the only reason I asked.

I dont want there to be any beef with you or your company I just would appreciate some respect when i call to make a contact with a new company that we might end up doing business with in the future.
