Big Problems Installing PAC AAI-NIS Need Help
I was pulling the power plug out of the back of the radio HVAC unit. The wires came out but the plug did not. Does anyone have a clear picture of the power plug to verify the position of the wires. I have no dash lights,Radio or heat. I am so F'ed.
You need to find a wiring diagram for that plug - the colors are listed on it. There are some recent threads here with some links.
Next time don't pull on the wires, use a tool and release the locking tab on the plug.

You aren't supposed to tug on the wires to pull it out. There is a tab that you push on with a screw driver as you pull with the other hand...here is a link to the diagram for an 04...I think it's the same for 03 except that the RGB ground is green (pin 7) one year and gray the other.
Post your email and I'll send you what I have.

I'm going to be taking mine apart in approx. 7 days, so if you haven't figured it out by than, keep an eye out on here...i'm going to post some DIY pics of installing converting the OEM navi/bose to run with a DVD player installed probably in lower glovebox. Sorry I ccan't help sooner - that definitely sucks. GOod luck.
I got it figured out. The wires stayed in the same approx. position when I pulled them out, and there was a decent pic on the '04 double din install thread of the plug. I started to freak out when the dash light did not work, but that turned out to be a fuse. Anyway I got it installed and it was worth it. Sat Radio sounds 100% better. Ipod to come.
Thanks to this forum and its detailed threads.
