Is there a list of what components fit in our car?
I've used this forum to figure out what box to buy (4080), which sub (jl10w6) and which amp (500/1)...but now I'm left with the components and an amp for them. I figure I shouldnt choose the amp until I choose the components.
From what I gather, our doors take 6.5" speakers, along with some sized tweeter up top. I'd like to get a set of front components where the tweeter can go right up where the stock one is, and the cover still fits over it. If I have to make a mounting ring for the 6.5", thats fine.
I'd also like be able to order the components online, I hate driving around trying to find stuff around here. New to the area (818).
Suggestions?
Also, do we have 2 side rears, and 2 rears on the back deck? What size are those? I may hook up 2 rears just to have some rear midbass fill.

Unfortunately there is really no sizing measurements for tweeters (best I can tell). You want to find one that is rather shallow and does not require a whole lot of hardware to mount up.

Here is my setup:
PhatBox 40 GB MP3 Player, JL Audio 500/1 Amp, 4080 box w/JL 10w6v2
JL Audio 300/4, Polk/MOMO MMC6500 6.5's up front, DB650 6.5 CoAx in the rear, lots of Dynamat
As you can see, I have the components up front, and coax in the rear. The rear 6x9's are removed completely; they are what Infiniti calls "woofers". You don't need them if you have a good sub (and you do, same as mine), and with them removed, it gives more openings to the interior for the bass to flow through.
There are differing opinions on whether you need anything in the rear at all. I prefer something there, but the fade is mostly to the front, and the rears are only barely audible, which gives me the sound that *I* like, which is what's important. You might try it without any rear speakers at first, and if you think you still need some after that, then you can easily add them.
