rockford was the shizzz for a veryyyyy long time. they were cheater amps. just like the old school pheonix golds. rated much lower then the power really is. plus those big *** capacitors they use in their amps put the lil ones they use these days to shame..the ole school pheonix gold with optional clear bottms were sick. thats the year they 1st came out with jl w6. wow did those pump.

Nah, two years or so ago were when they were at the peak. The Chromed Tarantulas, Human Reighn's, and Davinci's were when they were at the top of their game. The Reference were very good too but that is just way too long ago.
