We have decided to offer our Custom Ipod mounting systems to be fully customizable as explained at the beginning of the thread. We will have it laid out were you pick your covering, color, and lighting if applicable. Also they will be made to hold either your stand size Ipod or Ipod Mini. We will have 3 different styles each of which we will have an example of below.

Style 1 with wrapped base and top is shown below in black there are 4 colors they can be wrappen in.

Style 2 with wrapped base and your choice of 4 laminate covers brushed aluminums and black base shown below

Style 3 with a edge lit frosted plexiglass base and your choice of 4 laminate tops. The one below is aluminum laminate with orange edge lighting to match factory guages. 4 lighting color choices available.

will the precut area for the wire be made available for different ipod tops, the older versions prior to the video had the headphone jack in the middle

Are you selling just the mount? I don't need the connections as I have a Pioneer HU with Ipod adapter already, but if you are selling the mount, I like it. the flat black piece that sits in the cupholders. Right now I just put it in the glove. How much?

Thanks for all your feedback and questions, the answer to your questions are below. We can make it for the headphone jack in the middle. That’s what we did for another one of our clients. As far as the nano goes that will not be a problem either. Just be sure you let us know exactly which type of Ipod you have before choosing to pick one of these up. Each one is handmade so there is not a problem as long as you let us know which Ipod it's for. We want to offer you many option that’s why you have 4 different looks to choose from for an option 1 system, 16 different looks to choose from for an option 2 system, and 16 different looks to choose from for a option 3 system. We know that everyone wants to have something that has an excellent designed, but has a personal look to it, that’s why we are offering so many looks. So mix and match and let us know what suits your tastes best.

This is a complete Mounting system so each one will consist of the following items:

1. The mount itself whether it be style 1, 2 or 3 in any combination you prefer
2. High End DC Ipod bottom plug adaptor so you can charge the Ipod while resting in the mount
3. High End Stereo audio output cable for plugging from the headphone output into your Aux on an aftermarket source, Aux Box, etc...
4. Step by step instructions with pictures to show you how to install the system in your vehicle.

If you have a factory source unit and would like this mounting system but don't have a way to get the audio into your audio system let us know, we have an option for you as well. Hope this clears up any confusion. Talk to you soon.

Hey guys,
Great work with the ipod integration. Looks great! I have the ipod video, and mounted it in the center console where the navigation system typically pops out of. I wanted it there, because you can see it without taking your eyes off the road and looking down at the ipod to change songs, etc. I used the stock ipod infrared dock and made a custom mount for it. The only problem is, the ipod has no vertical support. It just lays in the cradle and after a lot of vibrations, etc, it loosens the connection and eventually will ruin the ipod battery charger connector at the bottom. I would definitely pay for you all to custom fabricate me something that will allow me to have my 60 GB ipod video mounted in the center. Here's some pics of the way I have it mounted now.
sbrazdo@gmail.com if you can e-mail suggestions.
