We are in the final phases of testing and layout for our Custom Ipod Mounting Systems for the '03-05 G35 sedan and coupe that are manuals, an Automatic version will fallow along shortly there after. We know many of you would like these as soon as possible, but we want to do some test fits and function testing before we release these to you to get a very tight tolerace to the Ipod itself. We have decided to make them out of a combination of materials NONE of which are wood. We have done this for enhanced performance overtime and improved strength. We will have some new examples up shortly of what they look like mounted in the center console with all the different laminates so you can see many of your options. We have designed the system in this location because it is the most secure place to put it that intergrates in with the interior without sticking out and looking out of place. It is also within your arms natural reach to control the unit. If any of you have any special request we will do our best to accomidate you as well. Talk to you soon, thank you for your time, and continued support.

you need to buy 2 things: a device holder and a vehicle mount. the vehicle mount attaches either beside your head unit, or to the vent to the right of the steering wheel. i guess this means you have to have a wire visible from the PAC unit, but it would just be a single wire, probably not too bad.

it's an expensive option, but ipodlounge reviewed it (and many others) and really liked it.

anyone have this?
Yup. I just went that route and installed it yesterday in the frigid cold. I think it's much better than putting it in the center console next to the ebrake. It allows me to have a better view while driving. Mine is mounted to the right of the cd changer and within arms reach. I'm gonna try to take pics tomorrow.
