stock HU. which amp and subs??
here is my dilemma. my current car has a kicker kx1250.1, kicker kx800.4, and 2 kicker 12" L5s (square solos). this is all hooked up to a flip-out touchscreen pioneer HU (p-7000dvd i think it is). anyways, i will purchase a '06 6MT coupe within the next month. i really do not want to get the NAVI because it is an extra expense which i dont think i'll use too much. i think that it will be best if i leave the stock HU as is. i want that "clean look" plus i retain steering wheel controls. now here are my questions:
1) does it matter if i go with the standard HU or with the BOSE HU?? (i plan to upgrade the speakers anyway)
2) should i sell off my amps and subs and go with something different? i am satisfied with what i have now, but i want something that pushes hard and is crystal clear. i feel that with kicker i get raw power and not enough quality. i might be interested in PG or in JL Audio.
3) what speakers do you guys recommend that handle lots of power and sound terrific?? i currently have kicker components, and pioneer 6X9s. i heard boston acoustics is one of the best.
4) has anybody used the sub box that the guy on ebay sells that fits flush in the g35 trunk?? they are designed for 2 12" square subs.

1) Doesn't matter.
2) Go with something diffeent - preferably more musical sounding.
3) Boston acoustics is better than what you have. They are mostly mid fi and have never impressed me, but the new top of the line stuff is supposed to be good... Consider DLS, CDT, Morel, Dynaudio, Alpine X type, a/d/s/, Rainbow, Alumapro, or even Diamond over Kicker.
4) Get a 4080 box. Best box that my shop doesn't make
