I was doing some research on these units, and reading the specs. I saw that the was an Video Out for head rest monitors, but I was wondering if there was a Video In for like Playstation or Xbox.

I had a Pioneer N1 unit and there was Video In, so I was wondering if this was the same for the AVN 5435.

I am pretty sure it has a video in because there is an input for a VTR (video tape recorder aka VCR). So I am sure that it has the audio/video inputs.

There is an A/V input labeled VTR. Label can't be changed. Won't display video unless parking brake wire reads brake being on.

The VTR or A/V inputs are on a seperate harness that your installer may not have connected at the time of installation. Although it should be in the box. Its a white 8pin plug with the steering control harness on it with a Yellow (Video) Red and White (audio) RCAs.

use the auxiliary input RCA connectors on the back of your headunit, then use the VTR function on your headunit to switch over to your PS2 or any auxiliary unit thats connected to the rca's... thats how mine is setup, it works fine
