question about mdf?

question about mdf?

i was thinking of doing a custom fiberglass trunk..but i dont want the car to sag too much because of the system..is 3/4" mdf heavy?if used generously throughout the trunk?

Yes it's heavy.

If you're going to be doing a full fiberglass trunk, then you'll use minimal MDF...mainly for bracing & speaker rings.

you wont see any sag though. my trunk is FULL and i got no ride height change

A 4x8 sheet of MDF can weigh from 70 to 90 pounds.

well i dont really think that if you are glassing that you will even use a whole sheet.
