I was wondering if anyone has installed the xm sat receiver themself and manage to get service in canada. I live in canada and have a 2004 G35c already pre-wired and I am looking to buy an OEM xm sat receiver from the US ( for some reason it's not out yet in canada!) and get canadian XM SAT service. XM SAT radio just got announced in canada dec 1st!

 

The Canadian regulators make introducing anything new very difficult for the satellite companies.

I know the US XM sat works just fine in Canada and there's a few people from Canada that post once in a while that have it installed. US XM covers even northern Alaska which ends up covering all of Canada even though they are not suppose to be able to subscribe. The only problem they run into is the Canadian version of the G generally does not come pre-wired, but its sounds like u got that covered...
