What input does the drive + play control unit interface with on the Bose premium head unit? I have a 2005 sedan with the Bose premium system that has the SAT button. Is it possible to use the SAT input as the connection for the control unit? If possible can those who have the drive + play installed take pictures of the LCD and control dial positions in their cars? I am thinking of having the LCD mounted either on the dash above the clock and having the control dial mounted between the seat heater buttons.

I just got this for Christmas. I still have to get an iPod to work with it of course but, at the very least it's good to know this works with my stock head unit.

What I would like to know is, there a way to use the 3.5mm connection? I'd rather it go strait to my amps vs thru the FM wire on the radio. I'm already not pleased with the sound quality that the radio/cd player puts out. It messes up the sound as you turn it up too high. I'm assuming its the built in EQ trying to adjust sound for the OEM speakers. So, I would like to bypass that totally and go strait to the amps. I could just leave the HK unit off or leave the radio off when getting out of the car. No biggie. Just wanted to know if anyone else has done that.

Thanks.
