I Want To Replace The Hole With A Navi Or Dvd Player

Hey guys this is a subject im really not familiar with, I bought my G without the navi because of the price and as well as the probability that i would want an aftermarket in place. I wish to keep everything stock at this time as far as the head unit but wish to replace the empty hole with a dvd player/navi system. is this posible? or will i need to replace the head unit and then that means i need to rep[lace the entire dash plate (or whatever its called)? i have searched a bit but dont know where to start. if it is needed that i would have to change out the HU and plate, i will then focus on the OEM navi system if so how much do they run these days. used would be fine too. thanks RX
