Would be nice to have an indash 6cd/dvd LCD headunit. However, would an indash 6-cd/dvd mechanism are most likely to have problems than a single slot cd/dvd mechanism? I see those problems from factory oem Ford and Honda indash 6-cd headunits. Also the reason I went with a double din instead of a single-din LCD, is the possible problems that may occur later from the opening and closing of the LCD screens. Those ribbon cables tend to go bad on those single-din headunits.

The conversion is slightly different than the 03-04, you need the 2005 Double Din Finsher kit available through Grubbs

They have 05-06 now. just not more 03-04.

Grubbs has kits for both the 05-06 and 03-04 right now. They are just hard to locate.
03-04 kits can be found in G35 Sedan -> Entertainment -> Audio -> Double Din Conversion
It is pretty conviluted. Here is a link to those 03-04 parts for the sedan at Grubbs

I called Pioneer, they hae little info but the new Avic z1 will play DVDs if the the car is in park, so it will be easy probaly to rig while in motion
