new to the forum and just was wondering if anyone knew the solution of my problem.

just installed the alarm everything works great! 1 problem thou.... the headlights don't turn off after i lock the car with the python but they do if i use the factory remote.

any ideas?

Typically the auto headlights will only have issues IF the RAP system is left on after you exit the vehicle (remote start circumstances). If you don't have a remote start, I would still check to make sure RAP isn't still powered after you arm the vehicle. To do this, lower the windows of the vehicle. Shut the car off, and exit as you normally would. Arm the alarm with the Python remote. Now, reach in through the open window and try to raise the windows. If they go up, RAP is still engaged. If they don't, then I have no idea. Try waiting longer!
