Today's a boxing day, mostly everything is on sale so i'm hoping to buy audio stuff for my G. So far i orderd 2 sets of
"Rockford Fosgate Punch 12" Car Subwoofer (P112S4)"
I'll probablly order one "Rockford Fosgate 1-Channel Car Amplifier (P3001)"
This is alright for the bass, but i also want to make the system louder! I have a stock boss installed, and i'm very scared to touch it as soo many people are telling me how i would have to change everything in order to make it louder. I'm willing to change everything except the headunit, but isnt it must to change the headunit if I want to make the system louder and want the same sound qualitty? I could change the speakers/bose amp etc.
So my question is, is this possible? I was reading people did change their speakers/amp without changing their headunit. In that case how was the qualitty, is it worth it? I'll probablly buy the stuff from bestbuy first thing in the morning. I just hope all the shelvs wont be empty before i get there....

No it isnt a must, you could accomplish the louder and some what improved sound quality without change out the stock radio, simple add sub and amp will make it louder and change out the stock speakers will improve the sound quality of the Bose, eventhought it might only be at 8/10th of its full potential.
