I have an old school amp Alpine MRV-F400S. I hope it has 300W but i did some research and people said it has 40w x 4. I have no idea.
I have running non-bose HU. What speakers should I get? Front and Rear.

Infinity Kappa 60.7 components up front and Kappa 62.7 coax in the rear are what I bought for my G coupe. I've had Infinity's in the past and the Kappa 60.7 and 62.7 are a great replacement for the stock speakers in a bose system because they are 2ohm. Running 2ohm speakers will draw more power out of your Alpine amp as well. I have an Alpine MRV-F450 that pushes 50WX4 @ 4ohm but pushes 60wX4 @ 2ohm. I'm also a huge fan of CDT Audio speakers. Very natural sounding speakers. I have a set of CDT Audio CL-61 components in my Lexus RX300. Hope this helps.

Oh, if he has no subwoofer at all then use the back half to run a sub.

 

I attest to the DLS UP6 components up front. These components are incredible. The sound quality is amazing. PM el_duderino for the DLS stuff. He is very knowledgable, professional, and he ships fast. Oh and the price was cheap too.
