The DD only comes in silver? What do the people do that have a black dash?

Since you live in Chicago goto finishmasters on Elston. Pick any color you like. I've seen some people color match thier exterior paint. Dupont and PPG make some nice interior flat colors that have a soft leather feel to them.

 

Agreed. I would just take it to a bodyshop. You should also take the lower console in at the sametime. Its going to cost ya about 80.00

 

ABT has a paint booth and they can/will do it for you. you'll probably need to leave the car overnight so they can take it apart and paint one night and then put it together the following morning. You'll probably need to only bring them the paint you want, but you may want to talk to the guys there to make sure you get paint that works. They also have all of the SEMA interior paints so if you like those you can just get an off the shelh rattle can color...

Didn't realize that any of the G's had a Factory black...Black? Really the Plastic around the radio you have is black? or am I confused...

Anyways, I would either test out a few blacks to get a good match or go with the exterior color of the car like Smknvr4 said.

Bodyshop? Wouldn't that run you some $$$ for a piece that's already exp ($$) enough? Doesn't the DD conversion run like $400?

Yeah I am going to have ABT install it anyway. I think they said they can match it. I paying 540 for the install. One Pioneer AVIC-D1 and IPOD Interface. That also includes the PAC for the steering, wiring harness and antennae adapter. Man, Sometimes I feel like that is expensive. What do you guys think. I guess it is for peace of mind. They have been around for a long time now and I plan on keeping the G for a long time. I want no problems on anything down the road. And if so, right back to them.

I bought the Din with the AC Controller with braket for about 300 with shipping. They do have e-coupons that I did not have so maybe some can hook it up so you can get a little off if they are not going to use it.
