Most people install in the stock tweeter location.

Yep, what they said. Take off the black trim piece and you will see that the stock tweeter is held in place by a metal bracket with 2 screws. Once you take it off then unscrew the bracket from the stock tweeter. Place the Kappa tweeter face down in the same spot in the trim piece and put some double sided foam tape on the back and then reinstall the bracket with the screws. It's super easy. You can mount the crossover on the flat spot above the 6.5" woofer.

Yeah, you do need to make a 1" mdf spacer. Here's a thread for you. In the thread is a link to a set of custom made spacers for G35s and 350Zs if you don't want to bother making them.

Do you need spacers for the back speakers for a sedan? What thickness? Same as the fronts (1")?

In addition to the questions above, do these speakers need any special wiring harnesses? Or do you just splice into the factory speaker wires? Thanks

No special wiring harnesses needed. Just splice into the stock speaker wires and you are good to go. Run the stock speaker wires into the crossover and from the crossover to the tweeter and woofer. Fairly easy and straight forward.

Waiting 'til tomorrow to order the "spacers" fom the suggested E-Bay site. If you get to that site and scroll down to the "800" number it appears there has been some confusion as to the proper size spacer to order.
Anything I can specifically state since the supplier acts like he's not sure what us coupe owners need but states something about "money back guarantee" if they don't fit? I'd like to avoid sending them back!!!!!

A 1" thick spacer puts the Kappa's right up against the foam gasket on the back side of the door panel. This is the right size. He put that on his site because he hasn't tried it on a G35 personally. Somone else on this site used his spacers and it worked perfectly.
